Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy and handle your personal data in line with applicable Albanian data-protection law. This policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and your rights.
1. Who we are
The data controller is the business operating this website. Our name and contact details appear on our website and on your invoice, and in the "Contact" section below.
2. What we collect
- Identity and contact details: name, email, phone, and the passport or national ID number required for guest registration; if you choose to upload it, a copy of your ID document.
- Booking details: dates, property and space, number of guests, special requests, and messages you send us.
- Payment records: amounts, currency, payment method, and deposit/refund records. Card payments are handled by our payment providers; we do not store full card numbers.
- Account details: if a website account is created for you when you book, your email and basic account details.
- Reviews: any rating and review text you submit.
- Technical data: IP address, device and browser information, and activity collected automatically through cookies and server logs.
3. How we collect it
Directly from you (booking form, reviews, account, messages), automatically when you use the site (cookies and logs), and from booking platforms (such as Airbnb or Booking.com) when you reserve through them.
4. Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To manage and fulfil your booking and communicate with you about your stay — performance of a contract.
- To meet legal obligations, including guest registration with the authorities and tax/accounting record-keeping — legal obligation.
- To keep our property and systems secure, prevent fraud, handle complaints, and improve our service — legitimate interests.
- To send you marketing, publish your review, or set non-essential cookies — with your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We use essential storage needed for the site to work, including remembering your chosen language. Where we use analytics or other non-essential cookies to understand how the site is used, we do so with your consent. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
6. Sharing your data
We share data only as needed: with the competent authorities where required by law (guest registration, tax reporting); with service providers who help us operate the website, payments and hosting, under confidentiality; and with booking platforms you used to reserve. We do not sell your personal data.
7. International transfers
Some service providers (for example website hosting and infrastructure) may process data outside Albania. Where they do, we take steps to ensure your data receives an appropriate level of protection.
8. How long we keep it
We keep booking, payment and guest-registration records for the periods required by Albanian tax, accounting and residence-registration law, then delete or anonymise them. Account and marketing data are kept until you close your account or withdraw consent; reviews are kept while published.
9. How we protect it
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
10. Your rights
Subject to legal retention requirements, you may request access to, correction, deletion or restriction of your data; object to certain processing; request portability; and withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (IDP) of Albania. To exercise your rights, contact us using the details below or on your invoice.
11. Children
Our services are intended for adults; the lead guest must be at least 18. We do not knowingly collect children's data except as part of a booking made by a responsible adult.
12. Contact
For any privacy question or request, contact us using the details shown on our website and on your invoice.
13. Changes
We may update this policy; the current version is always available here.
